Fees Information

Enrolment

  • Enrolment form must be returned with a $50.10 non-refundable administration fee in order to confirm your child's enrolment, this provides your child with a starter pack which includes a quality kathmandu fleece vest and hat which is embroidered with Heathcote Valley Preschool, it also enables the set up of an individual locker, allocation of a swipe card for secure access to the premises, your child's individual profile book and any other relevant information related to your child's needs.
  • Enrolment form must be returned with a bond, which equivalent to the first week’s fees. 
  • Booked times can range from full week sessions, full day, morning, and afternoon sessions.
  • Full day sessions must be booked for a minimum of 8 hours, morning and afternoon sessions must be booked for a minimum of 5 hours.
  • Within all sessions you are welcome to drop off or collect your child at anytime within a session.
  • All children must be booked in for a minimum of 2 sessions per week.
  • 2 weeks notice is required for changes to your child’s booking.
  • 3 weeks notice is required when cancelling your child’s booking.

Please note: Additional fleece vests and hats are available to purchase.

Fee Payment Policy

  • Payment of fees is required one week in advance. Fees must be paid on the first day your child attends the centre.
  • Invoices will be either emailed or placed in an allocated place in the entrance.
  • If fees are outstanding for longer then 2 weeks a 10% penalty will be added to your account.
  • If fees are outstanding for longer then 3 weeks your child’s enrolment will be cancelled.
  • All fees must be paid in full prior to leaving the centre. Any outstanding fees will be passed onto Baycorp Debt Collection Agency for formal collection at your cost.
  • A late fee of $5 per 5 minutes will be charged to any family who have not collected their child by our closing time. A late fee may also apply if your child is not collect by their booked time and the centre has not be advised.

Holidays and Absences

  • If a public holiday falls on a day that your child would normally attend the centre, full fees are payable.
  • Sick days are also payable in full; there is no provision for make-up days.
  • For children that pay full week fees a 50% deduction off the normal rate of fees is payable, 2 weeks notice in writing must be given. A maximum of 4 weeks holiday can be taken in any year.
  • Holiday discounts are not available to children receiving 20 Hours or Childcare Subsidies.
  • The centre closes for 2 weeks over the Christmas period. No fees are payable during this time.

Discounts

A 10% discount is offered for the youngest sibling if more than one child from the same family is enrolled at the same time and provided that both children are under the age of 3.

Tax Rebates

Tax rebates are available for childcare fees paid up to $940 per year. Tax receipts are automatically issued at the end of each tax year.

Meal Charges

For children receiving 20 Hours, this is all 3, 4 & 5 year olds, meal charges are covered through an optional charge.

For all children under the age of 3 years meal charges are included in the fees.

Payment Method

  • Preferred method of payment is by direct debit.
  • Eftpos is available.
  • Cheques and cash are accepted.
